On 24th April 2026, a regional forum focusing on international trade and logistics was held in the Serbian capital of Belgrade. The event highlighted the growing importance of Central and Southeast Europe as a key link connecting Asian and European supply chains.
Titled "Connecting Trade Corridors — Transport, Customs, and Tax Strategies," the forum was co-hosted by JUSDA Europe and the Chamber of Commerce of the People's Republic of China in Belgrade. The event gathered representatives from the logistics, international trade, customs, tax compliance, and supply chain management sectors across the European Union, the Western Balkans, and Eastern markets.

Petr Škoda, General Manager of JUSDA Europe, emphasized the Balkan Corridor's increasing role in global goods flows. "The Balkan Corridor is no longer a secondary trade route – it is becoming a vital link in the resilience of the global supply chain," stated Škoda. "This forum demonstrates that the synergy between European logistics expertise and Chinese trade networks can bring concrete business value to the entire region."
During the forum, industry experts Krasimir Banchev, Jing Liu, and Václav Svoboda participated in a panel discussion alongside corporate and institutional representatives from Nelt, Transportšped, and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Serbia. The discussion focused on practical challenges in coordinating cross-border transport, harmonizing customs procedures, and addressing tax regulations in the region.
Additionally, the event included organized B2B networking sessions. Participants, including Roman Kratochvíl from Kaumy SEE, utilized this opportunity to establish business contacts and explore potential partnerships in the logistics and trade sectors.
