Recognition at Pudong International Shipping Week 2026 highlights JUSDA’s end-to-end security practices across warehousing, transportation, and distribution.

On October 22, JUSDA International Supply Chain Management (JUSDA) received the TAPA APAC China Annual Honor – Award of Outstanding Practice for Global Supply-Chain Security & Resilience – Model Practice for Full-Cycle Cargo Security in Logistics, presented by the Transported Asset Protection Association Asia Pacific (TAPA APAC).

The recognition acknowledges JUSDA’s continued efforts to strengthen global supply chain security, manage risks across warehousing, transportation, and distribution, and build greater operational resilience.

Other global technology leaders, including Microsoft and Huawei, have also been recognized by TAPA APAC in 2026 for their achievements in supply chain security and resilience under separate award categories.

The award was presented during the TAPA APAC conference on enterprise security and resilience at Pudong International Shipping Week 2026 (PDISW 2026) in Shanghai. Vincent Hsia, Ph.D., Head of Global Legal Affairs at JUSDA, attended the event and accepted the award on behalf of the company.

A Global Industry Dialogue on Supply Chain Security and Resilience

Under the theme “Navigating the Future of Shipping: Innovation and a Shared Ecosystem,” Pudong International Shipping Week 2026 brought together international shipping organizations, industry associations, and global businesses to explore maritime security, digital transformation, sustainability, and cross-border collaboration.

Held alongside the North Bund International Shipping Forum for the first time, the event provided a broader platform for international exchange and industry cooperation.

The opening ceremony featured the Pudong Initiative for Building a Trusted and Sustainable Global Shipping Ecosystem by 2030, outlining five areas for cooperation: trusted maritime data sharing, mutual recognition of standards, AI adoption, green finance innovation, and international talent development.

As global manufacturing networks continue to evolve, companies face increasingly complex security and operational risks. Maintaining business continuity now requires coordinated risk management across regions, facilities, transportation networks, and business partners.

Against this backdrop, the TAPA APAC conference focused on international security standards, risk prevention, and practical approaches to protecting businesses expanding into global markets.

International Recognition for End-to-End Supply Chain Security

TAPA is an internationally recognized industry association dedicated to improving cargo security, reducing supply chain losses, and advancing asset protection standards.

Its Facility Security Requirements (FSR) and Trucking Security Requirements (TSR) provide established frameworks for managing security risks in warehousing and road transportation. These standards are widely used by manufacturers, cargo owners, and logistics service providers to support security management and supplier assessments.

While facility- and transportation-specific assessments focus on compliance with defined requirements, JUSDA’s latest award recognizes a broader approach: embedding security practices across warehousing, transportation, and distribution, supported by coordinated risk prevention, incident response, and business continuity management.

For JUSDA, which has extensive experience supporting high-value supply chains in electronics manufacturing, semiconductors, and precision components, this recognition reflects the importance of consistent security management in keeping global manufacturing operations running reliably.

Integrating Security Standards Across a Global Logistics Network

As a supply chain technology and management platform authorized by Foxconn Technology Group, JUSDA operates a global network of 155 service locations, more than 2.5 million square meters of warehousing and distribution space, and over 2,000 international sea, air, and land transportation routes.

JUSDA has continued to integrate international security standards into its operations, establishing more consistent security practices across facilities and transportation networks.

In China, several JUSDA operating locations have completed conformity assessments against TAPA security requirements.

Facilities in Chengdu and Zhengzhou have obtained FSR Grade B and TSR Level 2 Certificates of Conformity, while facilities in Taiyuan, Guanlan and Longhua in Shenzhen, and Tianjin have obtained FSR Grade A Certificates of Conformity.

Together, these facilities form a network of security-managed logistics operations across key manufacturing regions in South, Central, North, and Southwest China.

In day-to-day operations, JUSDA applies FSR requirements to facility protection, personnel and visitor access, cargo storage, and inbound and outbound procedures. TSR requirements support vehicle and driver verification, transportation monitoring, route risk management, and incident response.

By connecting these controls across the entire logistics process—from goods receipt and storage to dispatch, line-haul transportation, and final delivery—JUSDA has established an integrated approach to risk prevention, operational control, and incident traceability.

This helps maintain consistent security practices across locations while reducing vulnerabilities at critical handover points.

Strengthening Supply Chain Resilience Through Digital Technology

In today’s global supply chains, effective security management depends not only on well-defined standards and procedures but also on the ability to identify risks early, coordinate resources, and respond quickly when disruptions occur.

JUSDA continues to integrate TAPA-aligned security practices with its JusLink digital supply chain platform, applying technologies such as GPS tracking, geofencing, intelligent video surveillance, transportation visibility, and automated exception alerts.

These capabilities help improve visibility into cargo movements, vehicle status, and critical logistics operations, enabling more timely risk identification and response.

At the same time, JUSDA leverages its global logistics network to strengthen multi-warehouse coordination, alternative routing, and carrier resource flexibility, supporting operational continuity during unexpected disruptions.

For global manufacturers, supply chain security extends beyond preventing cargo theft or loss. It is essential to maintaining reliable material flows, cross-border fulfillment, and customer deliveries—even when operating conditions change.

JUSDA’s recognition by TAPA APAC reflects its continued commitment to translating international standards, digital risk management, and operational experience into practical supply chain capabilities.

Looking ahead, JUSDA will continue to strengthen security standards across its global operations, enhance risk management and business continuity capabilities, and build more secure, visible, and reliable supply chains.

By making security and resilience an integral part of everyday operations, JUSDA aims to provide manufacturers with greater confidence and continuity as they expand across global markets.
